I need a lab that will take a Canadian blood work requisition without going to a doctor here in the Villages. Last year, Alliance lab on old camp road did it and faxed the results to the doctor in Canada and yesterday they would do the tests as long as we paid cash but when we went back this morning they refused to do it even though they did it last year and were willing to do it yesterday but a different person at the desk refused to do it today without a number from a Doctor in the Villages.

Has anyone found a lab in The Villages or in Leesburg that would do blood work from a Canadian Doctor's requisition.

I would call lab corp and see if they will do it.

I think I used them when I did an online request. I think that I used: Online Labs & Blood Work | Health Testing Centers

If they won't take your Canadian doc's order, then just get a new order from one of the online places like the one above. They are cheap.

Thank you. We went to labcorp on 466 and were able to get the blood work done. They were very helpful and we were impressed. The problem seems to be that you must have the doctor's mph number on the requisition even at labcorp. They were even going to phone the doctor for his number but their computer did accept the requisition. That is certainly more helpful than the snippy lady at alliance at Sumter that said good luck getting any blood work done with that requisition and wouldn't even answer questions.
