I believe I read something about a garage and gas dedicated strictly for golf carts going in at LSL. Who knows, I may have dreamt it.

You are not dreaming. When we bought our cart in March our sales person verified the information.

This was announced at the developer meeting with Mark Morse a few weeks ago. This is the first golf cart only gas station anywhere and it will have drive in bays for golf cart repair.

I was told by my sales rep at Villages Golf Carts to use 93 gasoline and add marine Sta-Bil to each tankful. He was concerned about the ethanol issue. Not sure about the 93 gas, but the Sta-Bil is supposed to clean the deposits from the uneven combustion caused by burning ethanol.

There is also a non ethanol station being built in Pinellas Plaza. I think it is owned by a Villager.

The guy that sold us our golf cart from The Villages golf cart confirmed that the gas sold there will be "Ethanol Free"! That will be awesome.

Most important though, will it sell beer? Sorry, I'm a one-stop shopper.

Have two carts - 2010 Yamaha and 2011 EZGO

Use lowest octane available and no additives ever.

Gas, carborated , high mileage on both

Have never used higher octanes in modern cars and never used additives

No engine problems in the last 30-40 years

Don't see the point in spending money for nothing. Have I missed something?

Sounds good to me. Get a tune up and sample some good cold draft.

Great news. Now I need to figure out how to put a 20 gallon tank on the golf cart so I can fill up at the new gas station and go home and fill up the car(just joking).A few years ago I traveled out west towing a 5,000 pound travel trailer with my pickup truck. When I filled up with 100% gas I got better milage and had more power.Funny thing,I will pull into a station and the only thing you could see for miles were corn fields but they sold 100% gas.Makes you wonder why we only have ethanol gas on the east coast.
