Obviously we all knew what the writer was asking. They are obviously new to the community; where is your tolerance and compassion?

The answer was given, contact the appropriate county. US 301 is a US highway and signal lights and any changes need state and federal approval. I think the process must start at the local level, the city or county.

To OP, thanks for bringing attention to a traffic problem. Also, I hope you were not offended by the fun some of us enjoyed as a result of minor errors we had some fun with.

I was not "mocking" the OP, in fact I sympathize with his lack of vision in his left eye for reasons I've already stated. I was making a humorous comment about the words that were put in the post. We drive down to the Southern Area several times a week to enjoy the amenities down there and we never exceed the 45 mph speed limit.

Fully agree. It is so irritating trying to sort out some of the gibberish that lands on this and other social media sites, and double that irritation for the factual errors. A thoughtful proof read of what has been written before hitting the "submit reply" button goes a long way.
