Everyone is an individual, my wife just happens to have compensated well (also legally blind in L eye since childhood). I have no problem letting her drive

Well, I think some people judge levity/humor/sarcasm based on their own degree of "wokeness" Personally, I consider the only acceptable level of "wokeness" to be quite a bit less than zero.
Really, God forbid you offend anybody for any reason regardless of what you see. Illegal aliens are just that, NOT "UNDOCUMENTED". The bullpen is where relief pitchers warm up NOT "THE ARM BARN". Something that is grammatically gibberish should be pointed out. And why do universities need "free speech zones" in a country founded on free speech? Yet there are people, even on this site, that defend this type of nonsense.
For my part, if I post something in gibberish, or something completely factually off base, please call me out on it, I won't consider it a "joke at my expense" (But you better be correct, since you know what they say about payback)
