IMHO everyone just needs to lighten up. Some people like to b___h and I read those and get a good chuckle. That said I haven't been the target so maybe that makes a difference but it really should roll off our backs at this stage of our lives. I remember in my teen years everything bothered me, but as age and wisdom set in (especially when I hit 50) none of that really mattered so much. So don't take things to heart and enjoy this forum for what it is - people being people and a great source of information. FYI - went to Bonifay for lunch and did a drive by of the Sanibel pool, but didn't see any action. What fun we have in these retirement years. Loving life and hope you are too.

Thanks for your encouraging comments! And yes, Ed, it is difficult sometimes to distinguish emotion in a post. I try not to take things too seriously! I really thought I was going to get nailed for this! Can't wait to meet my fellow posters, good, bad or indifferent! Crispers in Dec!

If my house were built I'd tell you to come on over! Wine served anytime!

Love2Cruise, to the TOTV forum. Being new, I hope you don't take these characters too seriously. Some days are slow and stirring things up keeps it interesting. Join in and let um have it! We all like wine (although some like to whine)!

The forum is a wonderful way for us newbies to garner information and learn about what goes on in TV. I am so happy to have "met" some of you through your posts and truly hope to meet you all in person at some point. I probably am getting myself in trouble for this post, but I sure hope not! I am the consummate positive thinker and feel pretty lucky for my good fortune to be able to live (shortly) in The Villages! And to have you all as neighbors! Nuff said

One of my favorite sayings is "I do everything for fun, if it ain't fun, I don't do it". I just want to have a good time.
It is such an awesome place here with so many choices. If someone doesn't like something, just move on to the next thing. I figure we have about 90,000 people here which means 90,000 personalities. That's one of the things I like. I love meeting people.
Disagreeing is a good thing sometimes. That's how things blossom into great ideas.
It's the personal attacks that are sad.

Excellent post.

Some additional random thoughts:
1. Aren't we here to help one another?
2. Can't take life too sertiously, you're not going to get out it alive.
3. I don't let people rent space in my head.

Darn, I wanted a long-term lease on space in your head! Seems like a good place.

There is plenty of empty space in there but not for rent.
