Budget is in place right now for ongoing maintenace...............not waiting for build out. Budgets are available at Village Community Development Districts.

Nope, you and I do.

Couldn't remember the what it was called (Community Development District) MY point was that those villages that are finished are if I understand you correctly under the CDD control and budget while those that are still under construction are up to the developer who has a very high incentive to keep it looking good and very deep pockets.

[QUOTE=Bogie Shooter;702799]This is the department to call..................
The District Property Management Department is responsible for upholding the aesthetic, physical and environmental assets of the District by maintaining the District’s physical assets and infrastructure.

Thanks Bogie, but it's the same as my own yard - I don't want to call. I pay for service and expect it to be done. Hire a supervisor to drive around and see what they are not doing. They need to be proactive no reactive. I know it is a lot of territory, but they are being paid a lot of money I'm sure.

I think part of the problem is that it is summer...weeds and such are growing faster and it rains a lot causing delays in maintenance. Are you comparing summer months to summer months? Just wondering.

With all the rain lately they've probably gotten behind a bit.

Yes, I am comparing summer to summer. Only arrived last June and that is my benchmark for comparison; however, as I mentioned earlier I may have been awestruck when I first arrived and didn't see anything neglected.

I don't see any area as being neglected. I live north of 466 and our areas are well kept, but the weather this year has caused everything to grow like a jungle and that may be a problem. Plus the heavy torrential rain will knock flowers off just about any of the annuals. I think it's time of the year problem. I just had to prune my yard just like I do in the spring because everything has gone crazy with the heat and the rain.

I'm happy to report that there were several of Mike's Landscape people weeding and trimming on 466 this afternoon.
