Wake up, indeed. Keep out of you neighbors "sardine" can, and all will be well. Why is that so hard to comprehend??

Yes and they get annoyed, very annoyed to the point of arguing. I've confronted many with the same "I can" result. They make me the bad neighbor!

Poor TBs. Has a dog that should not be allowed in public. Prone to be potentially violent and owner seems unable to control beast. What to do, what to do? Find dog a safe home or put down danger to the community seem to be your only options.

Or move out on farm.

Why Do We Not allow them on someone elseโ€™s lawn? Proper training for one, andโ€ฆโ€ฆ..

I Donโ€™t Know What Is On Your Lawn, Chemicals, animal pellets, a liquid that could cause harm to their paws, or other dogs waste. Dog parks have always been a no. When I run at 3am they are right by my side with a 2โ€™ lead.
Smart and responsible pet owner.

Oh, he/she was totally entertained but doesn't want to admit it. If TOTV gets booring, he/she might even start the next "poop" thread just to stir things up again.

You are the good neighbor. When caught doing something wrong people usually react one of two ways. They get a bit "sheepish" and apologize, or they try to defend their actions by getting "tuff" and making up foolish reasons for their actions. Once you ask them to leave they must go. If one would be so foolish as to so much as threaten, or worse, touch you, that is assault. Call the cops and they can be arrested.

That would then be a cross-over event.....

Started on TalkoftheVillages and ended on V-News -- with Meta detailing how much they paid for their house and when they bought it.

Simple solution, instead of complaining:
Install a remote control for your sprinkler system. It solves two problems, moves unwanted on their way and it also waters down urine spots so that they don't burn your grass. Grass will generally revive over time, but once one pooch urinates on it, the next one has to cover the spot with it's own scent. My neighbor's lawn has many yellow spots along the street and he even has his lawn treated every month or two by one of the lawn services like True Green or Massey. If you wish to be a "good" neighbor, you can turn your sprinkler on BEFORE the dog and walker get near your property, causing them time to avoid it. Like they say, "Good fences make good neighbors." That way, you do not need to get into a lose-lose discussion with neighbors you normally like, just because they do not know how to control their pets.
I love dogs, but prefer they go elsewhere to do their business.
Come to think of it, maybe that would make a decent Villages business similar to installing gate pass chips on cars. Hmmmmm......

Clueless and wrong AGAIN.

I'm not a dog owner, love dogs, but we don't have one.

Have a few owners on our street & have never had a dog's duty burn any grass.

Just because the OP says it's his/her yard, does not make it so.

That's why there are property lines, car titles, certificates of ownership, stock certificates, etc.
