One of those seven spots might be a good size for his business. The location looks good to me - facing 466A, ABC Liquors to the left, Lowe's behind, Aldi to the right.
I didn't think of that because I thought all the spots were too big for them. He had tried to go into the Rohan Shopping Center where they have the new big Publix, but was told Subway already had that location. I'll mention that to them next time I'm in there.

Subway but no other Sub sandwich restaurant such as Jersey Mikes? I suppose this is good business but this policy certainly stifles competition.

It's not about competition. It's about locking in market share for the retailer, and revenue for the developer. Nothing wrong with good old capitalism.

It was announced what is going in front of Bealls but now I cannot tell you what it is. Whatever it was was nothing that was exciting for me. So it definitely was not a Costco!

Pet Smart is on the west and adjacent to Bealls. I'm talking south of Bealls on the other side of the parking lot. See post #1.

The day after your post, May 26th, I sent an email to Jersey Mike's real estate department with all the Barclay Group info. I was in the Lady Lake Jersey Mike's today and mentioned to Randy the manager that I had sent an email and asked if he knew anything about the new Lowe's shopping center in TV. I don't know if my email was the reason, but he said we are opening another Jersey Mike's in the new Lowe's Shopping Center on 466A. I think that place has the potential to be even busier than the Lady Lake restaurant.

The Villages Florida

From the map on the Barclay Group website, there appears to be a motel on the east edge next to Sand Hill Executive occupying 3 acres. In the far northwest corner will be 8 buildings each 3 stories with 36 apartments in each building on 21 acres, that would be just south of Tamarind Grove. In the southwest corner will be 10 office buildings each 6,000 sf. The Circle K gas station would be in the middle at the intersection with the red light and across the intersection appears to be where Aldis will be located. Behind the hotel adjacent to the Village of St. James will be senior living on 7 acres, it appears to be one large long building with a courtyard. Next to senior living will be 7 buildings of varying sizes of retail, probably good locations for decorators, shutters and blinds, etc.

I'm not certain, but I don't recall any mattress stores in Villages retail space.

Jersey Mike's is 1000 times better than the Subway crap. They could go across the street from Traverse Plaza. That is not under the iron fist of TV.

You maybe misunderstood my post, Jersey Mike's is moving into the new Lowe's Shopping Center on 466A.

They might try Trailwinds as I understand there will be a strip mall in there. Also, suppose to be a strip mall on the north side of 466A just east of Burke's BQ. Eventually, Jersey Mikes will find a spot......
