We had Constantino paint our 5 year old house. They used a good quality satin finish and it looks Great. They paint many of the new Villages homes, but the paint quality isn't the same as the one used on our house.

Is the original paint with a flat finish a nightmare for cleaning? While the house is still empty, we are thinking of repainting with a higher quality paint in a satin finish. When I moved to the Villages we were so excited. Within a week of moving in, we noticed a splatter on out kitchen wall that we thought was food. We took a wet paper towel, wet it and began to wipe the stain away. Soon the spot disappeared but then came a gray color. The paint was washing off leaving the sheet rock showing. We called the original paint company, Lester Painting, who decided the only solution was to repaint the entire house. The used the same quality of paint and you can guess, it also washed off. I gave up, went to Sherwin Williams bought quality paint and painted the entire interior of our home. The salesman at Sherwin Williams told me that his cheapest and poorest quality paint was called "Villages Paint"...
