Cool More closet space, larger 2nd bedrooms

It looks like they must be reacting to a demand for more closet space and more guest (share) friendly second bedrooms. Both the Aster and the Holly would lend themselves to sharing. The Aster has 3 ensuite bedrooms and the one they have marked #3 is as large as most masters in alot of other models. The two front bedrooms in the Holly could be set up as a bedroom, sitting room suite. I wonder if they are finding allot of people want to be able to share with a snowbird relative?
I would love to have the Holly, with the 3rd bedroom as a golf cart garage use the walk in closet as a workshop studio, but they probably would never let you do that. I just love the double walk in closets, hubby has kept every golf shirt he has ever bought (23 are red) and needs a big closet.

Nice to see a little change in the floor plans.

It appears that the new Lilac is the same floor plan as the Iris except that the exterior is frame and vinyl siding. Looks like you pick up a few extra square feet of living space, but not enough to notice any difference. The base price is $200,900 versus $212,500 for the Iris. I think this will be a very popular model.

Default Price adjustments

There also appear to be some price adjustments (lowered!) on some of the pre-existing models. There are several we had been tracking: Gardenia down from $212,600 to $207,700; Begonia down from $210,900 to $208,500; Lily down from $211,700 to $208,700 and Lantana down from $235,??? to $228,700. However, there had been an adjustment UPWARD before that. I wonder if they have changed what is included in that base price? The only one we have been tracking that appears to have gone up is the Iris (by $1,000). Some of the new ones have some nice features - we'll be down in July to make our final decision and choices!

I am so anxious to see the new models. I've been leading towards the Lily up to now but find that the Holly may change my mind. The kitchen is great as well as the walk in closet in bedroom 3. The 2 bedrooms are smaller than the Lily but the added space in the kitchen & eating area (where we use the most) is worth it. I just wish the lanai was larger. I also like the larger bathroom for guest ( or so it appears on the layout).

I will be down in TV next Monday..Yeah!

Default Love the new "Holly" design too

I will be down to buy a new home in Aug/Sept and am loving the layout of the Holly.....is that a coat closet off to the left of the foyer? I love the double closets in the MBR and the absence of a nook. I really prefer not to have to get furniture for 2 eating areas - so exciting to see new choices, wonder when they will have homes ready for sale. My stuff will be in storage so I am hoping there will be nice choices ready to move in when I am there!

Have any of you noticed that in the newer Lantanas that the wall between the kitchen and the great room is missing and by taking it out you lose those cabinets, also the pretty arch with the opening from the great room to the kitchen? It would make it less expensive. I wonder if the other older models are redesigned in a similar way to take the price down.
