Default New golf courses under construction

I just returned from playing at Cane Garden and I saw a lot of golf course construction going on around Jacaranda. I asked the golf ranger and he said that they are building 5 executive courses.

These courses are West of Buena Vista Blvd and around Jacaranda GC. You can also see the course construction from Buena Vista Blvd just North of Sand Hill GC. They are going very fast on this construction. At some places they are watering already don't know if grass has been planted or if they are trying to keep the dust down.

In the construction update in The Daily sun they were saying Amberjack and Redfish Run executive courses are in construction with a fall 2009 opening date.

Can't say one way or another but it doesn't surprise me, seems they always build the amenities in advance of the houses, it's one of the things that always impressed me about TV.

OK, so now I have another question, I recently heard that you can no longer walk on executive courses after the regular tee times, is this true ???

It's my understanding that golf courses and golf course cart paths are for golfing traffic/players only. I guess that means walking, biking, walking your dog, etc. are not to be done. Call the t-time office or get a good golf guide at the pro shops. I found this to have a lot of good info. Also attend the good golf classes. T-time office will have more info 750-4558

I assume you mean walk on to play golf without a tee time after the assigned tee times, and not to take a stroll on the golf cart paths which, as Chuckster mentioned, is not allowed.

That is true. As of today they've extended the tee time reservations to I think 1/2 hour before dusk. The latest tee time now is around 6:30. The starters will be there later as well. This change has been mentioned in the paper in the golf column. I know I saw it a couple times.

I imagine you can do it. There just won't be any daylight left for more than one or two holes.

I heard there were problems with non-Villagers driving to our executive courses, taking their clubs and pull carts out of the trunk of the car, and playing our courses. This will hopefully put a stop to that.
