Default Packing and shipping

I advise anyone who wants to ship a valuable item not to use Villages Pack and Ship. they severely damaged my grandfather clock and have taken 3 months to pay insurance (not yet paid). Anyone know any complaint processes besides Seniors Vs. Crime? they packed it very badly, the weights were lost--it was a 200 year old clock!! Family heirloom, heartbreaking. Just hope it can be restored, but much value lost. I cannot recommend them except for Christmas presents or books.

What shipper did they use? Was it freight or UPS, Fed ex. Contact the carrier directly and call the pack & ship daily asking where your insurance money is.

Not sure but sounds like who ever the carrier was denied the claim do to the way it was packed for transport. I have received a few packages that were so poorly packed I wondered how they got to my house in one piece.
