Default New Home Discount

Does anyone know if discounts on new homes still exist? The discount in May was 4% but there's nothing on The Villages website about a discount in June.
E-mails and phone calls to our sales rep have not been responded to, for some reason. Seems like something might be going on but so far it's a secret.

I receive monthly V Mail updates via email. I was looking at some Designer homes and many of them have a 3.5% discount. The discounts on some that have been for sale longer were a bit higher.

Hi,

I was on the TV site and agree with BK1. If you want new and can find a home built to finish out a neighborhood, you discount will be greater.

BK1

How do I sign up for monthly e-mail updates? We're also interested in a Designer Home with the ultimate lani package with swimming pool. Haven't had much luck in looking for homes thru TV.

I can't get the link to work.

If you go to thevillages.com, click on Homes, then Stylish New Homes, then Designer Homes, at the botttom of the page, View All Available Designer Homes you'll be able to see what's currrently available. Hope it helps.

On TV home page there is a selection for signing up to receive the monthly V Mail news letter.

Hmmm - that must be a new way of keeping the prices down. All the ones we looked at late last year had all kitchen appliances - some with w/d too.

We wish we could have built w/o the appliances but couldn't so we sold ours.

I thought I'd seen a few new homes with just the disposal listed, but in the pictures the other appliances were there. Maybe a typo on the listing?

we signed on to buy a house (well many months ago we put a downpayment on a lot to build a house that is) and the 4 percent offer was to agree to start building by end-July (or have the design meeting set no later than that date) so that particular offer is expired.
