Phoebis, I don't see a "lot" of lease with options, at least when I was looking, but there are plenty of homes around here otherwise, you'll not have a problem.

ajdeck, exactly what is your question? we've a villa and love the low maintenenance

Are you year round? From what the realestate lady told us is snowbirds mostly have villa's but when move here find they need more space and move to house. Mainly that is the question, what to buy if don't want to move around.

Who would ever think of fishing, except someone who is passionate about the sport? The bottom line is that there can be a myriad of reasons why people sell their homes in TV and move on.
Moving is stressful, even when moving to such a nice place as TV. Short of a severe personal crisis, I would advise anyone to "give it a year" before they panic and move back home.

You are not allowed to bring any furniture from your previous home. You must purchase everything new from Southern Lifestyles Furniture Store. Unless my wife lied to me.

No, your wife is telling you the truth. Did she remember to also tell you that you are not allowed to use your kitchen, and that all homes must be cleaned by a cleaning service?

Barefoot,

I look forward to it. Also hoping to meet in person some of my new neighbors in Bonita (Blondie and Mr & Mrs Veeman) as well as new online friends Kathie, GG, Chelsea, Donna, Army Guy, Ouma, Whalen Barb... (the list goes on of all the people who have been so friendly).

Another reason people sell their home is that they want to upgrade or they may find themselves to far away from activities like the town squares.
