- the online order service in effect soon. The had $10 disc coupons to try.

Took pics, and a WM corp/mgr type told me this is the latest prototype of the USA Neighb WM and the largest... some pics taken>
Nice report, DeanFL. Thank you very much.

I volunteer in a thrift store...............what kind of a mug do you want, average of 10 odd mugs a day.

You are a good soul, Bogie Shooter.

I really don't need an insulated mug. BUT

I am having some envy of all of Helene's coffee cups with kitty pictures on them. I get a plain one every time. But she and Sweetie still bring me my coffee. I shouldn't complain.

Default Disappointing

I decided that today was the day to check out the Neighborhood Market. It was about 11:00 and the parking lot was full.....as expected. When the store was being built, I thought the parking lot would not be sufficient enough for all of the people to park....I was right. Luckily, as I was going down a row, a car was leaving, thus providing a space for me to park. My first impression was good. I liked the produce area a lot. As I continued to shop for a few items, I became very disappointed. There is a very small selection to choose from and then isles are small!! I was looking for a particular tomato sauce that I use to make spaghetti with and they don't carry it. I was also looking for a particular brand of club soda in a 12 pack....no gots. So, I came to the conclusion that this Neighborhood Market that I was so looking forward doing some serious grocery shopping in was only good for picking up a few things here and there. Oh well....I guess I'll have to keep shopping a the regular Walmart for my large shopping trips. 😞😞

Two that WON'T be clogging up the parking lot. There is always a positive side if you look for it.

Went there for first time. Parking ample. Not that impressed with the store. When all the "migratory humanoids" are here it will be very crowded. Should take some pressure off Publix. Gas station should put pressure on the Shell. Liquor store ok but not much stock as yet. If you are looking for variety you would not go there. Frozen foods section mostly imported stuff with very high sodium. I would not buy. Produce ok but normal Walmart stuff.

The migratory humanoids will be arriving soon in droves.
Snapping up all the good tee times and clogging up the restaurants.

Sorry, Topicop didn't mean to go off topic and stir the pot.
It just struck me as a hilarious phrase "migratory humanoids". Back to Thread topic, new Walmart.

If you will be shopping somewhere else...will that not free up parking?

I went a checked it out on Saturday. We had a Walmart neighborhood market near us in Utah. It wasn’t my favorite store but convenient with low prices.
I was surprised that this one is so small. Equally surprised that the Mngr told you it was one of the largest of the new prototype. The one near us in Utah was as large as Publix. But it was a much older store, so I’m sure they have revamped the plans several times since then.
It’s very conveniently located for us, nice not to have to get out on 466A!!
That will be extra nice when the population soars!!

Migratory Humaniods. Now that’s funny! I don’t care who you are. If you can’t laugh...well, life can get hard.
