Default New Oliver Stone Film

The latest Oliver Stone film...W. ...based on the life of George W. will be released on October 17. I haven't seen any trailers or posters at either of The Villages theaters. What are the chances we'll see it here?

The numbers seem to control what movies get here to TV. Those numbers being box office potential here in TV as well as any contractual agreements the theaters have with showing such and such a distributor's films. Some movies you would never expect to do well in TV are here just because the theater has to show them to get copies of the more popular movies.

I doubt if W would do all that well in a very heavily Republican demographic.

I saw Nick and Nora's Infinite Playlist http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nick_an...inite_Playlist today at the Rialto Theatre and was the only person in the theater after the other two people walked out 1/3 through the movie. I thought it was a very good movie but not a very good draw for here in TV. They probably have to show this movie to get copies of movies at the Rialto which would draw more from the senior crowd.
