I went to the new Post Office today. There is only one entrance to the parking lot. Very few parking spots. If you pull in and all the spots are filled you have to back out because there is no place to go. What a mess. There is not much room for a line to the windows. No room for a queue inside. I was the fifth person in line and I had to wait outside. By the time I left they were lined up into the parking lot. It is a very un-Villages like design. OMG I bet the government designed it.

Have news for you not just USPS. When pay my taxes today, PACKED, was handing out number outside door, BUT, wasn’t calling number in side, total goat rope!!!

Someone who is not familiar could be confused. I think a better name would be The Villages Post Office, because the actual Lady Lake Post Office is behind Lady Lake Police Dept and City Hall on CR 25, actual address is 850 Teague Trail, Lady Lake, FL and is also where incoming mail to The Villages is sorted.



The post office in question is on actual Villages property and is golf cart accessible, it's location previously was 23 Lagrande Blvd Lady Lake, FL behind the Circle K. I don't know where new one is located, maybe someone informed can be more specific. This is how it use to look.

The new one is on the corner of Griffin and La Grand, still across from the Shell, but down from the old. To the right of the old in that photo

I went to the new post office today - didn't realize it was opening. Frankly, I came home and told my wife that I thought they did an awesome job. Different strokes - different folks.
