Default New Resident ID Cards

I just found out that when you get your new resident ID card, you will be given an new Village ID number.

This means that you will have to update your buddy lists on the Villages Golf Tee Time System with the new ID numbers. You might want to sent a note to all of your buddies to ask them for their new Village ID number so you can update your list and vice versa.

Default Automatic Update

I believe the system makes automatic updates within 24 hours from the time you are assigned your new ID card, or so I was told. Call Customer Service if you have doubts.

Does everyone have to get new ID cards? You mention Customer Service? Is there a number? Never heard of Customer Service in TV. Thanks

I'm just so excited to be able to get another shot at a decent picture on my ID. The one I have now was taken in July late afternoon. You can just imagine what my hair looked like!

The new ID's suck ! ! ! I played golf this afternoon and the starter didn't regognize the card for what it was and told me that it wasn't what he needed to see. I told him to take another look. Another thing is that your name is in red print on a dark background. Many starters had trouble reading the old card, and now this.

I think not much thought went into this project ! !

When I heard about this I called Customer Service and they told me I would have to update all of my Buddy lists.

Please call CS to verify.

Default Correction

I went to the source and talked to thevillages.net and they had to do some research but according to them, the new Villages ID will replace the old Villages ID and will be propagated through the buddy lists. It will not be immediately but at midnight when they do their update process.

I probably should have checked with thevillages.net people first.

Sorry for the misinformation.

Default Another way to waste money!

Another way for the powers to be to waste money. I'll keep my old card thank you and shell out the money instead for a modern performing arts centre instead of that "museum" at Savannah Center.

Neat bumper sticker. Went like this: "It's God's job to judge terrorists. Our job is to arrange the meeting!"
