the states that did increase their minimum to 12 or 15 $/hr (Oregon is an example) have experienced large layoffs and higher than normal business closures. A nurse makes that, a non skilled participant does not deserve it.

A nurse makes $30 to $50 an hour and excuse my rudeness but who are you to say anyone that breaks their back for a living day in and day out does not deserve a decent living wage. Seriously ?

What I have learned from this thread? Never jump to conclusions on what you read. Living wage? I have been attacked by both sides of the issue when I had no intent to address either side. Oh well.
