Roofers here overcharge. Four or so years ago I was quote $12,600 and $15,400 for a 1527 sf house. Told them I’d give them $8500. Told me no way. Told them I’d bring my roofing crew from Atlanta (I owned a skylight business and used roofers on occasion), and get it done for $6500. Called me 15 minutes later and said ok. Ended up paying 9k as a bit of sheathing had to be replaced. Today, it would probably be 11 or 12 k max. If you do not ask, you will not receive.

Roofing Guys are a good company! Highly recommend them, and they do it right the first time. They also did a very good cleanup the following day.

That is a great price. Almost sounds too low. Was an insurance adjuster and we allowed $325 a square 15 years ago. Just had my own insurance claim and was paid around $600 a square.

This has nothing to do with cost, it has to do with cell service.
I have a friend who has a metal roof and has to go to a certain place in the house to get cell service.
I went on the internet to see if I could find a solution and there was information on an expensive antenna to attach to the roof.
Since there is a product on the market, it's obvious she is not the only one with this problem.

Eustis Roofing did mine 1 year ago. 1960 sq ft home. $17500 for designer, upgraded, asphalt shingles.

We live in a log home with a metal roof. We have no problem at all with cell service. In fact I'm using my T mobile phone to post this reply while sitting inside our home.

Quality Services Roofing incorporated Ocala, replaced mine with Owen’s Corning yesterday $10,000, 1527 square foot Amarillo / Stetson, three bedroom 2 bath two car garage in one day.
I have the feeling I could have offered them less, but I took their first price, it seemed reasonable. They did my roof 9 years ago for $6000, same house, I am shopping for new homeowners insurance, I think the new roof might lower my rate. And the old roof was stained and looked bad from the street.
