That's very strange that you recall the article, but the thread starter said it was never reported by The Daily Sun. That was the purpose of this thread. Go back and read post #1.

I'm done.

I repeat, the Daily Sun is EXCELLENT at what it aims to be. It is a marketing tool for TV with some interesting local human interest stories and some news taken off the wire services. It will never win a Pulitzer Prize for investigative reporting, and no one should expect such. If TV marketing deems a story to be not in the best interest of marketing homes, it will not be likely to show up in the DS. And don't take this as a dig at the developer, it is not, I worked for years in marketing and know of whence I speak.

I find the Daily Sun reports pretty well for a small town newspaper and a sales tool. Perhaps it is the editorial page that kinda gets to you?

It is all what you are used to. The papers back in Ohio all had Conservative slants.

Default The Sun

When we were here for our life style visit one of the things we enjoyed was that Sun paper delieverd to the CYV every morning.

Full of Adds and Homes and information for TV

I take it for what it is, Someting to read. I can get all the dirt I need else where on TV or the Net. Sometimes we need a little more Mayberry RFD Sunshine!

IMHO

I enjoy reading the Daily Sun everyday. It serves its purpose of keeping Villagers informed of Village happenings and services.I used to have a problem with all the local sports coverage[not of the local high schools]but of all the softball, golf, pickleball results, etc, but I'm even over that.In fact when I'm back in Pa,I keep caught up by reading it online. As far as local "bad" news not mentioned, well if it's not,I know it will be mentioned here.
