This is something that has never happened before. It is much, much, more dangerous to people who are over 65 which is MOST of us here in The Villages. It is important to stay away from others, stay home, as you said. I don't think Chatbrat should call the sheriff. BUT the Governor did issue a warning to anyone traveling from New York and New Jersey where many, many, many people have contracted the disease. They showed pictures on television of people arriving from those places being met by officials telling them to self quarantine. I have dear friends who are from New Jersey and New York but now is not the time to leave. No one knows who has the bug and who doesn't. I don't think Chatbrat should have ratted where he lives and what he drives, but I would sear the ears of that young man if he were my nephew. Chatbrat's wife has a mouth. This is not a time to travel. He is far from the only one. We need to redouble our own efforts to do what we can to not catch it or give it to others. Please don't jump on me. I am peddling as fast as I can.

This is what concerns me more than anything, people coming in from hot spots that might be carrying the virus unknowingly.

No relatives are in our wills--everything goes to military charities-homes for our heroes, navy relief, salvation army & a few more

Are you serious? Someone is going to go to their own home and you think the sheriff should waste his time telling them to quarantine? Just stay away from them. We are all pretty much quarantined. Order your groceries to be delivered and just don’t leave your home if you’re that worried. You can’t dictate another home owner, unless he comes over and spits on your face.

Almost all of us are "THAT WORRIED". We all react differently. If we aren't "that worried" we should think about it a little more. Some people get angry. Some people get depressed. Many try to find someone or something to blame. I think I understand what you are saying, ladybugsmom. We can't change anyone else.

I would think that anyone coming into the Villages including family and those that leave and come back should have to self-quarantine for 14 days and that includes no golf or going to grocery store or hardware or anywhere else for the protection of the rest of us and the governors rules!

For those who want to report a car with NY/NJ tags or otherwise point to them to say infected person, I would ask the person who wishes to report that incident if they themselves have been absolutely religious in their adherance to social distancing. That includes talking with a neighbor without a face mask, driving a cart without a face mask, shopping for groceries without wearing a face mask and never coming closer then 6 feet to another shopper or cashier, failing to wash their hands whenever they touch anything, failing to sanitize their phone and remote control regularly.

Let's stop pointing the finger at each other and do our part by listening to Dr Fauci. As for the rest of the politicians, they have their own cross to bear in being behind the curve.
I've done all the things you listed and I have a legitimate concern for someone coming from a Corona virus hot spot. Most of us here are on the "endangered" list. I would hate to see an outbreak here. This could go on for a long time.

ABSOLUTELY should NOT come here. STAY where you are at right now until things settle down. If you do not, you are just showing how much you do not care about others.

Absolutely not. How about all the people who just got off sick cruise ships and are supposed to go home and self quarantine. Thousands of people. And you are going to worry about 1? How many do you think already arrived that you dont even know about? Leave the cops to do real work

yes this owner is potentially putting the rest of us at risk....he's selfish and has nothing else to do

great advice to double distance from him

that said, what goes around, comes around

once "The Lofts" are open in Brownwood and renting 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments many of the homes that have been purchased as rental income properties will be flooding the market
