Didn't someone post earlier about so much hate on this forum?

To a great extent Professional sport salaries are a refections of the amount of money that it brings into the owners and the organization that runs them. Women sports are just not not viewed or produce near the same revenue that men sports do. Example, there are no professional football teams and their basketball teams suffer from revemue short falls. I guess you could put this inder natural selection, not because of prejudice.

People talk sports all the time. This post is actually about fairness in sports. Many of the folks, myself included, have stated that they really don't care if people want to surgically alter their appearance. The concern comes when a surgically altered male now identified as trans-female should be allowed to compete against natural females. Many of us feel that is simply unfair. Some do not wish to support businesses that support what they disapprove of, which is their right.
The controversy is really that simple.

This thread is so stupid.

When the Russian athlete who lost to Bruce Jenner in the Olympic's decathalon was informed that Mr. Jenner had become Caitlyn Jenner, his comment was so spot on that I just smiled and nodded. He said, "Oh...so I lost to a woman!" as in who the heck cares. If you all want to get your knickers in a bunch because of someone living their life as they like (i.e. its called freedom), then get your knickers in a knot. But, please don't try to convince me that your small mindedness is something we should all share. Adopt the Russian athlete's motto, Who the heck cares!

WHAT???
First you sound like TransFan defender of transgenders. Then you "bless" someone with a transgender grandchild, like transgender is a horrible curse.
What do you reeeaaallly think, down deep in your deepest emotions? Don't tell us, that is your private domain.

If a woman works her tail off to get an athletic scholarship and than along comes a male who decides to be a female and gets her scholarship is that ok with you?

If it was your daughter would you say who cares? I do not think so.

Or hm - a woman with prodigial hand-eye coordination, that most golfers lack, competing in womens' golf against other women who don't have that prodigial hand-eye coordination?

Should Tiger Woods have been rejected from pro-golf because he has a significant biological advantage over other golfers (golf is both a physical and mental sport, and he mastered it from both ends, something others COULD NOT DO)?

How about [insert name] the pro-football running back who can do whatever the heck he does better than any other football player due to his physicality? Should he be disqualified so that lesser men can have a chance at winning?

A woman with naturally broad-shouldered frame and narrow hips will have a much higher shot at being a championship swimmer than a woman with narrow shoulders and wider hips. Should that broad-shouldered woman not be permitted to compete?

People are both however they're born, and their physicality doesn't prevent them from competing. In fact, often it's their physicality that allows them to win. Do we tell those with superior physicality that they're no longer allowed to compete because it's not fair to those with less superior physicality? No, no we don't. In fact, we applaud it, and pay them the winning prize for it.

UNTIL you start talking about something that you don't understand or fear. Then it's a bad thing. Physical traits becomes taboo, no longer permitted. THIS physical trait will ruin the game, it gives everyone else an unfair advantage.

Maybe they should just check testosterone levels. If your levels are on par with the levels of the rest of the people on your team, then you can play. If they're not, you can't. No matter what your DNA says you are. A man with super-low testosterone levels as a result of genetic mutation, should be able to compete on the womens' team. In fact, change the names. No more womens' teams and no more mens' teams. Make it Hi-T and Low-T.

You want it to be fair, then go down that road instead. The presence or absence of a ***** or vagina doesn't mean diddly, except in the case of reproduction and whether or not it's easy to pee standing up.
Silly me thought we were talking about differences between males and females. So now you want to complicate it by talking about some males are stronger than other males and vice versa?

The Russian was fanning away an insult. Jenner was not a woman. The Russian knows it, the world knows it and I bet you know it too.

GOOD FOR YOU!!! If we as consumers don't stand up to this woke nonsense, more and more companies will keep doing this.

I'm absolutely fine with that. But that's not the discussion at hand, now is it?

Another red herring...

More red herrings...

We're not talking about MEN competing with other MEN...

Continued illogical examples do nothing to help your argument...

And the foolishness continues...

No one said anything of the sort. Except you, of course...

Yes, YOU don't seem to understand the PHYSIOLOGICAL differences between biological men and women.

Me, otoh? I've studied kinesiology, and I DO understand those innate differences...

More foolishness. NATURAL levels? By all means, compete...

You can keep repeating your silly comparisons. It doesn't make them any more correct...

I find it sad that you don't care enough about women to keep their sports fair to women...

If you think this is fine, you're a lost cause...

So if you had a daughter, would it be okay if she had to compete against men? Adidas is promoting men who are transgenders competing against women. That ain't right!

If you don't care about it, then you likely have no real daughters.
