North of 44, I believe every village has their own adult pool.

So………not all the villages south of 44 have their own adult pool? Why did they change that model? There is an adult pool in every village north of 44 and is usually located at the mail centers.

I remember being told by the salesperson we dealt with when purchasing our home in The Villages that every village has their own adult pool but we would be able to go to any of the adult pools. We were also told that all the amenities of each village, including the adult pools, would be built before any homes were sold in the village.

Missing pools, maybe not. Not much talk about missing Country Clubs, not a one South of 44. From what I can tell there are none planned either. What a shame.

Seriously? That is only going to make the country clubs in the north more crowded. Why no country clubs south of 44? This is terrible news. I had not heard that.

Bonifay, Evans prairie seem to have similar food Do they have like a MasterChef that just creates same food for all of the country clubs?? I hope the villages is moving away from country club dining and instead trying to create unique dining experiences in standalone restaurants.

Country clubs are more to my liking over a food truck where there is no air conditioning. Especially in those hohum months.

You really need to travel north, so far you have missed the very large power lines, and not every village has adult pools. Or just open a TV map.

 That will not work..... I posted a link to a map of amenities in the Villages and I don't think it was opened. How about this:

Q: What is the Resident Academy?
A: The Resident Academy is an interactive program for residents who are interested in
learning about their local government. Our ultimate goal for the Resident Academy is to
alleviate the confusion, questions, or mis-information that exists throughout the
community regarding the responsibilities and functions of the Community Development
Districts.
During this program, participants will receive an in-depth look at the various
District Departments and how they work together to make this the best community to
live, work and play. Department Directors will also be available to answer questions or
make appointments for those seeking additional information.

When you travel south, and go to Edna’s, you will see a diverse age group. Usually much younger than those at the restaurants at championship courses.(really not a country club). It’s very noisy in the restaurants, and hard to carry on a meaningful conversation. Many who come here have traveled to food truck events near their hometown. Food trucks are very welcome addition in any urban area

People enjoy sitting outside, even at the championship courses their outside entertainment is very busy.. Developer is making changes that the younger residents apparently appreciate, like the many outdoor walking paths, without golf carts, that makes a very safe and tranquil walk. The new walking path at lake Miona, is a great addition for those near LSL

1/2 mile is the same whether there is a line on a map or no line. The distribution of adult pools seems about the same to me as when I lived north.

Country clubs are no more than restaurants located at a golf course. No reason to prefer country clubs over any other restaurants. Don't worry. We don't even consider passing by places near us just so we can be in a "country club". Hope this helps.

The amenity map you posted doesn't show neighborhood boundaries so it is difficult (impossible?) to tell which neighborhoods don't have an adult pool. Still, while APs are abundant in the area between 466 and 44 there don't seem to be as many between 466 and 42.

Did the Resident Academy you attended take the time to list the neighborhoods without adult pools? The one I attended did not. The one I attended focused on the various District Departments and how they worked together. Amenities were mentioned but there was much more time spent on who maintains the amenities than on counts of adult pools or pickleball courts.

The Family pool is in Linden at the regional rec center, just 300yds from the Adult pool.

What Villages have family and adult pools?

:ho: I find living here for over 18 years helps with knowing a lot of the information.....that and knowing where to ask questions to get the correct answers. That part we learned at the Resident Academy. :icon_wink: An example - we live in Santiago, we don't have an adult pool. The villages on each side of us (Alhambra and Santo Domingo) don't either. Glenbrook across from us doesn't. BelleAire, north of Glenbrook doesn't. Polo Ridge, south of Glenbrook..... no adult pool either. Wow and people say every village north of 44 has one. :icon_wink:

https://www.districtgov.org/departme...ntersPools.pdf Don't know how updated it is.
