Because I am still a snow bird, I purchased an inexpensive security camera to watch my house in Florida when in Ohio. It works fine except for viewing the temperature instrument my wife purchased. That’s another story. As I plan on staying all three winter months in TV this season, I decided to purchase another camera for the house in Ohio that includes a temperature readout and will send alerts to me if my water pipes are about to freeze.
So, I purchased an Edimax IC-7113W security camera from a computer distributer that I use for a wholesale cost of $ 116.24. It’s very easy to setup to use/view on smart phones and has many of the features found on the more expensive cameras. I am happy except I may return the unopened camera that I was going to sell to my brother, who purchased a house down the street from me in TV, for his house in Ohio because Newegg is now selling it for $79.99. It’s a steal for that price if you need a security camera. I am so happy that I will be retiring very soon from this crazy computer/electronic business. Where do you install it to receive the optimum view/ temperature measurement/ as well as measurement alerts for broken pipes etc. Just looked at it on line and it is very interesting.

After telling him about the deal, my brother just purchased two from Newegg to use in TV and Ohio. I would have sold him the other one at my cost of $116. Thankfully, I have an RMA to return it for credit.
