Lightbulb Not 1 solves all

Yesterday I was fortunate to tune into a Doctor, Specialist in NY City, provide a real explanation regarding the virus. His point was this is not a 1 solves all. It is complex and requires a new understanding of a virus. Some have compared it to other illness's
e.g. Heart, Cancer etc with number of deaths. In fact the different with this is that it came in a single thrust and stressed the medical preparedness, (e.g.beds, medical support systems, resources, etc etc. ) Other medical illness are on a typical monthly
basis and able to predict. Also, it has a more serious impact on ages 65-up which is different from other virus's at this level. All of these demand a different and better understanding as to how to attack the threat and set up different ways to get it under
control. First: We should set up different rules for those in the risk ages. Second: We should consider allowing those who are able to get thru the virus with less impact on their systems to have more open rules and as they get the virus use their systems
to provide antivirus serum for the risk group. This is a series of methods that will in fact allow us to go back to the way of life we were use to. I have not heard any of this sensible approach from the other TV Doctors and on the surface it makes pretty good sense. I am sure I have not done justice to this Doctor's thinking but it does stimulate some of the brain cells to broaden their thinking?
