Voted by mail. Only marked the statewide choices. I don't really care who is on the Marion County School Board.

YES! Voting is a privilege given to us by The Constitution and sealed by the sacrifice of all who served. It is not to be taken lightly nor to be done uninformed.

Absolutely yes. I vote in every election as I take the privilege very seriously. As others have said, if you don't vote, then don't complain.

Yes, we always vote in every primary and election. When I lived in Seminole County, the average primary only had about 20% voting. I always felt that it meant that ours counted for more.

I think The Villages community is somewhat of an anomaly. On the whole people here are hard-working, honest, forthright, and patriotic to name just a few characteristics.

No one got here by being stupid.

I don't know where to look up the statistics but I'm betting we have one of the highest voter turnouts anywhere.

Yes I voted but I had to dig for information about the candidates. I often use the League of Women Voters site but some of the candidates did not respond to their request for info. The state of Florida website was helpful with bios.

I used google....for some I could not vote for too( since in Florida you can only vote for the party you are registered,) just to see more about them. If you want to be um surprised just use your browser. One came up with a tale of his boat and some surprising pictures.

Nope - I am NPA, No Party Affiliation. And typically vote in the General Elections as a true Independent.

I know...I would have no input as to Primary/final election entrants. So be it.

And being an NPA on the voting database, I don't receive emails/mails/comms from any Party. good.

My father (way back when...) used to vote Republican straight down any ticket. My Mom tended to vote split - I recall when my dad found out my mom voted for JFK in the '60 election... he was not pleased...
