I can understand Nova's position because the filter canisters have a maximum working pressure and if you exceed that, they can start to crack and eventually fail. I also know that Nova has installed thousands of filters over the years and if there were a problem there would be a ton of reports by now you would think?

We just had our Nova filters changed and had to replace one of the blue canisters. Maybe more prevalent than is known.

My nova system had a 1 year warranty. My Pegasus system has a lifetime warranty.

True, but thats because you are paying almost double for the Pegasus so that warranty is built into the price. Nothing wrong with that but it needs to be mentioned.
