Interesting. Haven't seen anything about that and can't find anything online. Not like the paper to miss an opportunity to report on a golf cart crash.

Residents and especially guests don’t realize the “dangers” of traveling in a golf cart. There have twelve fatalities (last I heard) in golf carts. Golf carts are fun but they are not toys.

Isn't the speed limit 10 mph on the golf cart bridges? I thought that curb was pretty tall there. Wonder how fast they were going.

I thought that cart path was wider when it was built, but the bridge had to have a sidewalk added.

Thought I'd seen it all- At Sawgrass a few months ago, a woman had a gigantic white bird on her shoulder. The bird was holding an ice cream cone in one 'hand' and eating the ice cream. I didn't have my phone top take a pic.

Yes, I know that bridge, and we were just on it a few days ago, but I thought this thread was about what happened on the Brownwood bridge. Sorry! Got confused. 🤪
