Here’s a link to the different CDD compliance requirements. Depending on the district you are considering, you can find the restrictions regarding domestic pets. Note, this for Sumter County.

No, but after one dies. You can only have two pets after that. Course all that means if you follow rules.

Actually if I was in charge it would be 1 and only 1. But, luckily I’m not in charge.

May I suggest a quick call to the sales center for documentation- rather than get info on this site?

My deed, states a two pet limit.
Probably, won’t be an issue unless someone complains!

The two pet rule is not the case for every district. There are one or two districts that limit the number to one. As I mentioned before, District 13 does not have a limit. Need to read the restrictions for the specific district.

If they're as well trained as your pets, maybe...

The two pet rule is enforceable only by the developer, as it affects things inside the house. AFAIK. ther has been no enforcement. We moved here with three cats. No problems.

District 5 deed restrictions state a two pet limit. A friend in Ashland was busted by a nightmare neighbor. She had an old inside dog, a cat and 3 little birds. She had to give up the birds. (He seemed to get unhinged at the smallest thing and had a gun fettish so she didn’t want to fight it.)
