Default Observations after 1st LSP

Greetings from the Arctic North (actually Phila, Pa but feels like the Arctic after arriving here from Florida last nite...). After spending 6 days at TV, we are hooked and can't wait to return in April.

We loved:
-the spotless neighborhoods
-the walking paths and cart paths surrounded by great landscapes,
babbling brooks, and numerous shaded benches
-strong sense of community at the Tree Lighting
-friendly and welcoming Village residents, truly the real salesmen of
TV!

We had an opportunity to visit the new VA clinic and The Villages is truly lucky to have this facility. We presently utilize the Philadelphia Medical Center and they do a great job, however, location and transportation issues become a problem as we get older.
During our visit I realized that I did not have enough of my prescription to last for our visit. I visited TV VA center and they bent over backwards to help and ultimately refill my prescription.
I noticed that several in the waiting area were impatient with the timeliness of the service, believe me, you are extremely lucky to have this VA facility in TV, the wait time at TV clinic is nothing compared to other areas. A VA Ambassador greeted my wife and I at the door and provided us directions, everyone was very helpful. Kudos to all.

You all are truly living in paradise and we thank you for all the hospitality.
Gary and Sue

Cookies,

I'm pretty sure there's a home here with your name on it! Move into it soon, OK.

Love,

Glad to hear of your good fortunes with the VA. I am a 70% er and went in September, VA ID card in hand, just before they opened and they took my paperwork and said to not expect to hear from them for 4 months. I've flown to Ohio for one VA appointment and scheduled to go up again a couple of days after Christmas. Fortunately Ohio mails scrips to me and I have about 2 refill left.

Like most say, TV has to be seen to be believed. So glad you were impressed with TV.

I hope you move there soon as I know I will. Welcome to TOTV and I hope you keep on posting.

Happy Holidays from cold CT.
