No issue with that sticky or any one sticky - just that stickies are taking up half of the first page. How about one sticky that is subject "for stickies click here" or similar title.

We had this same discussion some time back and the admins greatly reduced the number of stickys. Now we are back up to half a page. I think they lose their effect when there are too many - I didn't even notice the new ones until this thread.
