What a nice offer! If you could light one for my niece, Susan, who is expecting her first baby and is experiencing those first-time-mom anxieties.

This is good.
Too many of our newer churches over here have replaced real candles with electronic, or battery operated, candles.
I think God likes prayers from real candles, with actual flames, much better.
Thank you, CFrance.

Gracie and Villager, candles lit for Yvonne and Christine to find peace and happiness.

Both were lit at Saint Dominique Church in Monpazier, a bastide in the Dordogne. Image Gallery | Saint-Dominique Church (Monpazier) | Structurae. I am having trouble emailing pics to myself from my Android phone. I have pics of the candles if I ever get it to work.

I am trying to take pics on my android phone and email them to myself so I can post a few here. Wish me luck!
I envy you Cindy,,, isn't Villefranche a beautiful little town? I arrived there on a Sunday morning (many years ago) and just loved the quaintness of the town. I miss traveling, I have to get back to that.

While your at it, could you please light a candle for our friend Barb 1191 and her husband Bill. We just heard of their passing this morning.

Thanks so much for your thoughtfulness.

thank you for the link. I just realized that I was in Villefranche-sur-Mer which is on the coastline not villefranche-du-Perigord. Doesn't matter, its all beautiful.

Yes, there are actually three villefranches. Maybe I will get to see the sur mer one day.

Wonderful gesture. Please say a prayer for Jim who just had surgery and may need additional procedures.

Thank you, CFrance for lighting the candle for my mother, Christine, for her peace and happiness. I cannot express the gratitude I feel for you. Blessings to you!
