sure is a big difference between 40 days and 6 months! doesn't sound like we are talkin' cleaning and refurb!

From what I've heard it was privately owned and The Villages came in and told him he had to do 80,000 dollars worth of upgrades, which he did not have, so he had to close it. I guess it will be reopened by someone else after the renovations are complete. Not sure how true that information is.

Doesn't sound like they have anybody interested in opening and running a restaurant there, otherwise they could do it much quicker...IMO.

I heard the deck furniture in the Tiki Bar area has been removed by the former owner.

if someone owns this - how can the villages come in and tell him what he has to do with it?

Orange Blossom's predicament is a too often senario here in The Villages which I find disturbing. Also after living here for over six years I question the legitimacy of the Priority Programs and believe they fly in the face of the "live like a millionaire on your pension....marketing claims.
