check out other places, not just the villages golf carts. The most expensive place to buy a new cart is that place

Your point is valid IF your needs are immediate. We had a car so waiting a couple of months was worth the $3,500 savings over Villages Golf Carts

Look at all choices, electrics go farther now and quiet and don’t smell gas! Crown Carts carries Star and an Air Conditioned Cart as well.

We just bought one there this week and they said 4 months.

We ordered one in January, they told us 6 weeks, they said it could go 7-10 days longer, All depends on back log. Ours was ready in 6 weeks. We got a 2019 rebuilt chassis, its about 1500 cheaper. But is totally new. We still paid almost 16,000, ouch. But we enjoy it, we got a four seater and our two Goldens can ride in the back. We have put 800 miles on it already. Financing is great 2.99% for 48 months. 2021 is 0% financing, which in hind sight I wish we had done. You'd save $38 a month in interest. 48 x38 = 1824, enough saving to buy the new one.

It’s all depends on how much you plan on using it. I live in the center of The Villages close to Colony. A few weeks ago our group played golf at Lopez. After golf a bunch of us decided to get lunch over in Spanish Springs. After that I went home and my wife wanted to go to dinner at Bluefin in Brownwood. We took the cart then came home. I’m not sure you could do that in an electric cart. Maybe when it’s new but not after a while. I’m not saying gas is better than electric. I think it’s a matter of convenience. It really comes down to a personal choice of how you are going to use the cart.

Better make an appointment for an oil change at the time you get your new cart.

Bought used at Wholesale Golf carts, super nice, very fair ... they just go out of their way to make you happy.
We had different seats added, picked out at the shop at 2pm, they called same day saying-all done and dropping it off imomentarily.

Do your research. I’m surprised that people commenting on electric are giving outdated information . We have a Clubcar electric that will go 60 plus miles. It’s called “ Lithium”, quick, no smell, quiet, no maintenance , 80% charged in two hrs. 60 miles is like driving further than the Orlando airport. You won’t cart around that much in a day, who would want to. Most have onboard chargers as well. We were happy to skip over the smelly, noisy, put put carts .

Try Carts and Clubs in Ocala, same cart will be $1,000-$1,500 less than the Villages.

We just bought a new 2 seater Yamaha gas cart from Villages in Brownwood. There were 3 on hand to choose from. We were told July-August for a new cart. Luckily we loved one that was on the floor because we didn’t want to wait.
If you know what you want, call & order it now-then it will be ready close to your arrival here. Enjoy!

You also are giving outdated information. Yamaha Quiet Tek carts with fuel injection are quiet enough to talk on your cell phone while driving. If there is a smell, my nose doesn’t detect it. Noisy, smelly carts are a thing of the past, at least where Yamaha is concerned.

We bought a brand new 2020 Yamaha gas golf cart last May at Country Village Power Equipment in Webster (about 25 minutes south of Fenney). Had a wonderful experience working with Steve and Carolyn. Saved over $3000.00 from what we were quoted other places and have received great service from them so far. They delivered the cart a couple of days after we purchased it and they let us use it with the factory seats until our custom ordered seats arrived. They then picked up the cart, swapped the seats, installed the enclosure, and returned it to us the same day. They have been back once for an oil change in our driveway. Highly recommend them.

Recommend lithium power. They have plenty of range, impose much less noise and air polution on your neighbors, and Electricity is 10x lower cost than gas per mile. Plus, gas carts won't have much resale value in a few years. All transportation is going electric.
