Default Original Brownwood

We were on a trip this weekend to northern Michigan and decided to look up the original Brownwood that the Morse family started. Thought you all might like to see some pictures of how it looks today. We are moving to The Villages this summer and cannot wait to enjoy the new Brownwood square!
This is my first time posting pictures so I hope this works!

We used to go to Torch Lake quite a bit and of course go to Brownwood, Bellaire and Alden. Quaint little towns and so pretty up there. Torch Lake is beautiful !

We were into the golf cart store at Colony and the salesman told us that in Michigan the Morses have a development 2 or 3 times the size of TheVillages. And, that he has been there. Is he lying or what?

Was the salesman's eyes glassy and was his nose all read?

yes, I see the 1880's look of the general store. I have always thought our Brownwood town center looks like our little midwestern towns in Illinois. Also it reminds me of an "upscale" Kissimmee, which is a REAL Florida cowtown!

He's lying. Lived in Michigan for 60 years and there are no developments like the Villages or anything massive that the Mores's own. The salesman must have inhaled too many golf cart exhaust fumes and he's hallucinating.
