Had any of you ever thought that the people who sincerely and honestly like this place feel attacked by the nay sayers...and not only feel attacked....feel singled out and attacked.
It hurts coming or going unless diplomacy is used....and you cannot really disguise bitterness with words....it seeps out. So for instance I say I love this place and someone says I must work for the developer. Isn't that an attack? Or someone says I have been drinking the koolaid...isn't that an attack? Or someone lifts my words out of context...So the bullying goes on ....and one side is no better than the other.

You know I have given this topic a second thought and believe that I much prefer overcrowdness rather than the alternative. So I'm happy to be here, heck I happy to be anywhere

If you can bring yourself to vary your shopping, eating, doctor visiting, etc routines by 30 minutes, you will never have to stand in line as long as you live in TV. Avoid the herd.

That certainly helps, but we've had trouble getting into restaurants during the high season months, particularly March. Even going at 5:00, depending on the restaurant, there can be lines . Its just something we live with, and breathe a sigh of relief in April, when things start to quiet down again.

Well, actually,we're still on the golf course at 4 during the winter. If you get a 1;00 tee time, and its a 4.5 to 5 hour round of golf, which it inevitably is in the winter, we're lucky if we can get to a restaurant by 5.

GG hit the nail on the head...about the bullying etc.
After all folks, we're retired so what's a bit of waiting? Being in line can have some bonuses...you meet folks you'd never met before! Why all the hurry, hurrying?? Make it a positive instead of a negative experience. I don't think we actually KNOW what crowded truly is. Think Hong Kong, Japan (some of it's cities), New York etc. We get great benefits for this community being built out---the restaurants we "have" to wait in lines in, the stores and more!! I say...take a deep breath and relax!! JMHO |

As far as overcrowded conditions in TV, we usually have dinner around 7:30 pm. By then the crowds have nicely dissipated, even at Bonefish Grill.
