I really wonder if anyone buying a home was told their shingles were defective they would ignore the warning. The only real question is did The Village's Warranty Dept know of the problem and when did they know it? Most importantly is why did they hide it from the owner's who had Oakridge Shingles.
The honorable thing for the Warranty Dept. to do is to either insist that Owen's Corning reimburse for labor as well as shingles and/or for the Village'sto make good on the labor costs since they contributed to the Owner's loses by not telling them of the defective product. Does anyone actually think they will stand up to the fairness? As said: Follow the money and it will be clear that profits are more important than doing the honorable thing. ![]() |
