Quick question, is there any furniture with feet which will ruin a painted cement lanai?

And bad matches with any lanai finishes is great information, trying to figure out if our current deck aluminum chairs and table will work or not.

If the concrete is actually 'painted' with household paint, then IMHO it is going to wear. If the concrete is STAINED with concrete stain (looks a lot like paint), this will last a long time and will resist wear and tear from furniture.
It may be possible to add protective covers to the furniture, look at the big box stores and ACE to see if anyone carries suitable caps that can slip over the feet.
We have a stained lanai, with lots of furniture and NO damage when i move this around for pressure cleaning.

Great! thanks! At the moment, I can't tell the difference between stained concrete and epoxy/paint/urethane coatings. .

We have been very happy with the gorilla glides we put on the legs of our outside furniture. They protect the finish on our decking very well. They make different products to fit on different furniture configurations. Definitely worth checking them out with a google search. We use the glides that screwed into the feet of our heavy duty poly wood chairs and they slide over the concrete decking very smoothly without damaging the finish. We also use their glides, that have a sleeve that fits over the legs of the chairs, for our dinning room table, which sits on a tile floor. Good luck.

Try taking a picture (or 2) of the finish, one a close up, and i an sure that people will be able help you identify the finish. I can handle, stone, stamped concrete, stained, painted and probably a few others.

I don’t think anyone can answer your question because the surface product is unknown. Our pool deck and lanai were textured spray with color added. We had a tree fall on the deck, ladders dragged on the surface, along with furniture. Only two spots size of 1/8-1/4” the color is gone. Then again that could be from acid dripping in those two spots. Not sure what product was used but well worth it.

Well, since I have bare concrete, neither can I.

I have a metal table, and chairs, and not sure if we should pack them or not, given that the hard rubber/plastic screw in levelers will damage any future lanai surface.

You shouldn’t have any issues with raw concrete. If you love the set bring it down. Once you decide something else would work better, sell it on TOTV. Many rental properties are looking for items all the time.

We had almond painted and river rock with no issues. We bought leg protectors, but only used then on the heavy table

That would be obvious, the question is if I bring it down, and there is only 1 concrete surface finish I can refinish it with, I am limited to options, which is not ideal nor worth the expense. .

the question is about 1 year into the future type of question.
