So what do we do?

1) Eliminate quarterly annual flower planting to pay for palm trimming?

2) Raise CCD fees to cover the trimming?

3) Stay the course and deal with the storms?

It is so thoughtful and kind to trim your neighbors tresses for them because they had pride in taking care of their yard but couldn’t afford it. If we all put others first it would make a huge impact.

Those types of palms are SUPPOSED to look like that. Not all palms are created equal. Don’t like it? Don’t look. Pretty simple.

Yes, why in hell are you out driving around? Did you have your clip board with you?

The beards are left on for a purpose. They are a nesting place for many species of birds. The birds actually shrewd the font and make a nest , which is well protected from the elements. Sharon was well informed an active for the environment, we have the Sharon Morse Preserve.

The variety of palm is not supposed to have he dead fronds pruned off but left to fall naturally as they did.

Outdoors is outdoors, not your living room, or even garage. It's not supposed to be vacuumed and dusted. Palm fronds and a few flowers that need deadheaded are part of life. Even the grass here is shaggy (I am used to Kentucky Blue). But it's fine, that what makes it Florida and The Villages.

You would be the first to complain about fees going up to pay for landscaping.
Driving over palm branches with car , golf cart, bike or anything with pneumatic tires will most probably result in flat tires.

Really? There's not another community of this size or even smaller that maintains its grounds as nice as the Villages grounds crew does. Puleeeese!

If people stayed home instead of driving around for something to do, the people cleaning up would not have to worry about getting run over and one would never see them. But then there would be nothing to complain about, so there's that.

Of note, dead palm fronds are not supposed to be trimmed off as they protect health of palm; are meant to drop off naturally. The Villages does a superb job of maintaining landscape.
