I had one removed by A&B and another palm (I had purchased separately) planted. $750. I was not satisfied with their work.

Default Size of Crapemyrtle

Crapemyrtles come in many sizes. Do your research so that you get one the color and size you want and, once trained to grow in the shape you want, it won’t ever have to be trimmed again. No crapemurder! For example, I wanted a crapemyrtle tree in our front yard, so I chose a Tuscarora that grows to 20’ with a beautiful pink, fragrant flower.

We had 7 of our 9 queens removed by Winburn.
Very responsive...no nonsense work method...very reasonably priced.

Ours were mature, 17 year old queens all more than 25 feet tall and just too prolific at making seed pods and palm fronds and harboring way too many critters!

We have not had one palmetto bug in the house or the lanai since their removal...no more twice per year cleanup and trim.

I love my palms, have a large Sylvester in the front and a smaller Sylvester on the yard along with 2 Ribbon Pam’s that make the most pleasant rustling sound in the breeze. I just love them. As for removing palms the only thing I can tell you is unlike other trees you do not need a permit to remove them as they are considered a grass. Go figure.

And I cannot read a message about a palm tree without reminding everyone that Sago Palms are highly toxic to dogs. Every part of them can kill a dog quickly so please beware.

Default Airborne Tree Service

I had three palms, in one group, that were within a foot of the corner of my garage. My gutters were always full.
I contacted Airborne Tree Service at (352) 347-3332 and they came right out to quote the job.
When they showed up they came in force with very good equipment, heavy duty cranes and very large disposal trucks. They lifted the trees with cranes then cut them off, gently lowered them to the ground and then cut them to place in the disposal truck. They ground the stumps and cleaned up beautifully.
THESE GUYS ARE PROFFESIONALS!

I had 8-9 Queen palms removed after they were badly damaged by several sub-freezing days a number of years ago. They’re easily removed because of their very shallow root systems.

Had 3 huge Queens and one huge Sylvester palm removed by Tree Frog. Amazing equipment. Removed them all and ground down the stumps. Left my property looking neat and clean, replacing the red rock. I have used Kanani before. His work is outstanding. He is extremely professional. Tree Frog!

Because of that little piece of paper you signed when you bought the house.

You agreed to the deed restrictions which require ARC approval for landscape changes...

Except palms. You don't need to get permission to remove them. I just had 2 cut down.
