Funny how rules only upset people who don't want to follow them.
Their ball, their game.

We're suppose to fill divots but GOD forbid they fix that one year old pothole.

If it was in front of the Proshop or Restaurant it would have been fixed immediately.
Divots? Maybe "WE" are also expected to fill "road divots" around the golf courses? I can cover the cost of a bag of concrete. Who will bring the shovel?

THAT'S IT! They're waiting for US to fix it. My apologies I'll get right on it.

I wonder what would happen if we actually did show up with concrete and did fill the hole.

They probably wouldn't let us touch it and claim something, something insurance liability.

Yeah! You're right!
Still, maybe if some poor person in a golfcart was blinded by headlights juuuust as they were approached and caught their wheel in the "forever pot hole" and wrecked and called Morgan and Morgan and sued for, oh, say $10 million for damages, pain and suffering due to knowingly failing to fix a long standing safety issue? Who knows. Maybe it would get the attention that it should. Maybe!

If that happens I'll be more than happy to be a witness with pictures of it throughout the last year.

Just an update the infamous Palmer's pothole is still not fixed and getting bigger, the cone is crooked now because the concrete is lifting.

Perhaps it has been there long enough to attain the status of "Historical Landmark" and there may be significant paperwork involved in repairing.
Like the busted up pier at Lake Sumter Landing, from the hurricane of "ought-six"....You have to protect our history.

They used to say 'Life begins at Forty,' but in TV 'History begins at Forty!'

LOL.

At least give it something more historic worthy than an orange come.

I assume your post is meant to take the position that we should just be happy we have so many amenities, and not complain about deteriorating conditions in and around the place we call home.

Or is it a heartfelt suggestion that when things do start to deteriorate we should move away to a shiny new place that hasn't started deteriorating?

Perhaps you could expand on the comment so we can more fully understand what you intend to convey with it.

Palmer is not free by any means.

That is the joke a $80 a round course has a big pothole and their solution for a year has been a cone.

The Pothole also creates a one-way trail for a two-way trail which is an accident waiting to happen.

There is a saying the squeaky wheel gets the oil, well I’m squeaking.

Maybe if you drove past it every day you would have a different opinion.
