I think the signs that say "No Resident Parking" are misleading, (tho they aren't in your area, for some reason.) It seems they should say "guest parking", if anything. I asked several people before finding one who knew no Resident parking meant. I see visitors park in front of the house if who they're visiting short time. Hours. No one walks from the area mentioned above. Neighbors don't seem to mind. If residents need overflow parking, it may be appropriate to use the unused "No Resident Parking" areas, so they don't have to park on the street or on their lawn. My thoughts.

You said “ and it does not work out with a visitor parking his car at our villa”…why not, is it because you don’t want to be inconvenienced? If your vehicles are already in the garage, then there is plenty of room in your drive for their vehicle. If not, why..,garage too full, too many vehicles, etc.?
