Default Coolers & Dogs

We were ready a few responses from people in the villages about coolers and dogs.

The one response said "from a good source they will be banned soon" along with the dogs. WELL, we see that the "Gestabo" is working overtime lately.

First when we go to the town squares on a busy night, the people are lined up at the bar stations almost fifty feet long. I guess the Morses what more and more, maybe a hundred feet of people.

As to the dogs, we enjoy taking a nice golf cart ride in the evenilng with our toy poodle and sometimes we bring along his stroller. If the villages gestabo and H.Gary Morse keep it up the word will get out and they will sell almost nothing, but when your alread a billionnaire, I guess you want more and more.

Tried of being squeeze for every dollar...

I disagree with this post and several other comments on this thread....I think we are missing the point of what is being attempted here...
The other side of the coin is first ,the dog issue,,,, the squares are so crowded that people don't see pets being threaded among people standing there and they can accidentally step on a pets foot in which the pet reacts by bitting whom ever is closest , which is what happened last week ...
And second is the cooler issue, Mr. morse is not concerned about the golf cart coolers,, its the groups of young people who bring in large fish coolers full of iced beer and take over a section of the square......This is what will drive Villagers away from the squares and He's not going to allow that to happen.....and when you view it from this prospective then I'm on his side..
The squares are not meant to be a doggie do run and a beach party for people who don't live here ....
So I say cut him a little slack and help him keep this place the way we all want it to be .... A near perfect retirement community.....

I thank you .. Fumar ..

I believe that pets do not belong at the squares. To many people and I'm sure the pets get nervous. We usually bring a small cooler with a couple of drinks for the evening. If they are banned we would still go to the squares. Why not, its free.

Fumar,

Thanks for the information on the recent incidents concerning dogs in The Squares and people bring coolers to The Squares. I knew there must have been a reason this topic was suddenly getting so much attention but had not heard of either incident you mentioned. It helps to have this information to keep things in perspective when reading the post.

The doggie incident is that a lady was bitten on the calf of her leg because the person next to her stepped on the dogs foot.. , but the real incident happened three weeks ago when someone's two year old granddaughter reached down to pet the nice doggie and was bitten on the face......

I'm not an expert on this but I think Muzzle's and Diapers would help . At least it always worked on my cousins.....

Be careful where you place that cooler. A dog may pee on it.
