Shortly after closing on my new home (August 16) in Buttonwood, I received a letter from The Villages. They suggested I contct a landscaper to maintain the lawn while I was away (Which I did). They also said the lawn needed to be sprayed immediately for pest control. The word "Immediately" shows it urgency. Can I wait until I get there during the second week of September, or should I act now. I would rather be there to understand the routine and procedure and ask around for choices on who to use.

Tom... It can wait till you get here. Pest control is a good idea although I'm sure there are people who don't engage in these practices or services. Search totv or ask your neighbors for recommendations. Most companies spray a barrier around the perimeter of your house to keep bugs from coming inside.

Hi Tom. I closed in Buttonwood June 21. While I'm not there I'm using the people who put the lawn in, Tri-County for lawncare, the company who did the pest control on the house, Dean's, and Zoysia Green for fertilization. Haven't seen the lawn in person. but the caretaker and my neighbors tell me it's looking really good.
