Man, or lady, you’re in for a storm with this post. If you’re in a neighborhood with fenced yards in in a pet zone. I have a neighbor who yells at anyone even walking on their grass. Personally I encourage dog walkers to use the side corner and as long as they pickup and they do, who cares

If I had a dog, I would make the effort to have them use my own yard. However, I don’t get why dog walkers, who DO carry plastic bags, don’t ALSO carry a small squirt bottle of water to dilute the area. Wouldn’t this help, for several reasons?

You obviously know very little about the subject. Dogs typically urinate as soon as they are outside if they need to. It will occur on the owners property. After the initial urination, while walking, the animal will stop and mark the territory with droplets. No harm to plants or grass. I’m fine with this. Regarding “pooping”, there’s no way to know when a dog will poop. A good owner bags it in totality and moved on. If they don’t, then I have a problem with them. No way would I use a dog park. I’ve seen too many dogs ignored as they become aggressive towards other dogs. Do the other dogs have their required shots? To walk on the MMP’s I still have to walk thru my neighborhood to get there. Like all things, there are considerate owners and the opposite. If I see a small sign in a yard asking me not to let my dog near their perfect landscaping (in the owners mind), I make sure to move past the yard as asked. Done for now!

It amazes me that with everything The Villages has to offer, you prefer to sit at your front window waiting to watch a dog pee.

So the dog owner is able to control when a dog irinates, expecially a male? If your yard is that important to you please reevaluate your life's expectations. Try having more gratitude for the things that matter.

You open yourself to people who have no respect for other people yards or property. I posted something similar to this shortly after we moved in. We at the time had two dogs ourselves and we had our dogs use our yard for their bathroom and I cleaned up after it.

Hopefully, you were able to train them not to go in your house? It is a manner of training isn't it?

1,000 times. Everyone takes sides and nothing is done. OP is new, first post...... it's so tedious having these complainers.

Many lawns are treated with a wide variety of herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, and fertilizers that are not necessarily “animal friendly.” As all owners well know, their animals health is their problem and responsibility.

You sitting at the window, watching for dogs peeing in your yard? There are 3,000 or so activities, surely you can find one more fun.

Remember there's lots of wildlife in TV, coyotes, bobcats, gators, big birds, foxes, squirrels, panthers, bears and who knows what else.... all who have access to your yard....... life is short, pee isn't that important.
