Totally different, not buttered. I like Annies also but being from PA I grew up on this rendition and whenever I visit, it is a mandatory stop.....several times

I love pretzels! No need to butter them. I always ask for no butter and the salt on the side.

I remember attending to a Catholic school in the second grade in Philadelphia. Someone would come into the classroom and sell soft pretzels for 5 cents each. They were very good.
