Call the Daily Sun - 751-7964. They can point you in the right direction.

Default Maybe next year

Possibly next year they will get it right. There is NO business phone book for this town. Took us almost an hour trying to find a business phone for Home Depot. Under hardware .... no! Under lumber ..... No! Under appliances ..... No. Ah here it is, under home improvement. Who wudda thunk??
Did this with a few places. Drives you crackers.

Neat bumper sticker. Went like this: "It's God's job to judge terrorists. Our job is to arrange the meeting!"

If you can't locate one, you can have mine. I don't use it.

Pssssssssst, I asked my sales rep for one.
She said they normally give it at closing, I just sweet talked and said I'd REALLY REALLY like one in advance to do a lot of things remote.
She called someone in relocations, and I had a phone book in 5 minutes.

Thanks for the replies and offers. I tried a few things this week and was finally given a number where I can buy a DEX phone book. I tried to find any publishing information on the 2009 TV book but could not find anything. I am only only renting and have to go back to Ohio in the morning so I will have to wait until my next trip.

You might want to try using Google 411. It's amazing, and it's free. We used it all the way across the country, and I've used it many times here in the Villages. Enter it into your cell phone, and you'll be able to find businesses wherever you are: 1-800-466-4411

The automated voice will ask you for the name of the business or the type of business, the city and state, and then give you a list of businesses, with the most likely business at the top of the list. If you choose one, it will automatically dial the number for you. You'll be talking to the folks a Home Depot before you know it! It sure works for me.

Default Hard To Come By

I had the same wish before we closed. There were some things I wanted to line up while I was up north before we closed. I tried everything to get a phone book, with no success. They are given freely to residents with Villges ID crds, but almost no one else.

Go figure. Maybe you'll have better luck than I did.

Default Phone Book

I about split a gut when I read this thread! I have never seen a place that has more phone books! It seems that every time you turn around they're delivering another one. There are little ones and big ones. Village ones and county ones. Business ones and residential ones. Oh! The trees! I hope you're able to find one now, but, trust me, once you move in you'll have more phone books than you can store.
