Than again is the old saying that a lawyer who represents himself has a _____________________. So how does one self operate?

Was premed for a month or so in college so that info might come in handy some day.

I popped a handful of Motrin, and I've spent the afternoon with and ice bag on my heel and the foot elevated. No sign or bruising or swelling (which is good), but it hurts like a sumbich when I first get up to walk...

I had to cancel our golf game this afternoon...

I could have sworn someone said that Pickelball was better than golf...

Hopefully, I'll be able to play golf when my daughter and son in law arrive tomorrow evening. We have a tee-time at Evans Prairie on Wednesday...

Well, at least I'll be able to take the cart...
Hummm, I certainly have no business giving anyone any kind of "medical" advice but.... seems like just one day of rest off feet might not be enough ? Hope just the one day does it, best wishes !

Rest, what’s that? Will have plenty of time to rest when dead.

Notice how I said "the thread"?

On the very first page of the thread (post #13, to be specific), I -DID- comment that I am a Podiatrist...
I was diagnosed with plantar a year ago on one foot. I told the doc I was sitting indian style legs crossed and putting several hours of stress on the foot that ended up having it. He prescribed me with expensive inserts and said plantar/inserts can be a lifelong thing like needing glasses. I still wear the inserts the few times I wear shoes outside, and any pain I once had has been gone a few months after seeing him and never returned. I've done heavy calf raises in my workouts since HS (long ago!) so my arches have always been strong, but I'm just more careful with how I sit and what kind of stress I may be putting on my feet. I try not to lean on them for hours while sitting and just keep them relaxed when not on them.

Well, it has been 5 days... Woke up this am, pain rated 2-3/10. Played 18 holes (@ Lopez) and it felt much better... Hardly limping...
