The price might be a result of the "view", not that it is any different than any other house in the same model lineup. Doesn't make it fancy. Now at the Preserve, now that is fancy...lol.

There are some very beautiful views right around Atlas Dog Park.

Gotta love it. Story about a fight between a husband and wife over dog poop on the rug. Wife allegedly a daily alcoholic who routinely beats husband ( I said allegedly). She calls police and ends up the one being arrested. Any credence to the story ? Maybe. And what is important to the population here in The Villages. $469000 is expensive for a house here in utopia unless it has a view of the swamp. What about the stain on the rug ?

The online newspaper is criticized if it provides too few comments about a story.
The online newspaper is equally criticized if it tries to provide as many details as possible, (price of the residents' home).
Stories may not always be well-rounded or contain details people feel are appropriate.
I don't work for the newspaper, but I do think they try to do the best reporting they can.
I feel sorry for the dog that gets yelled at; take him for a walk instead!

Poor dog across the street is let out through the garage door on a leash when it tries to use their lawn the owner drags it out of their yard and across the street to another yard.. Has it do its business then back to the garage door. I find it cruel to drag the dog the dog with such force, just to save their yard. Maybe these two dogs could play date to find a better home.

Just fancy. There are expensive neighborhoods in the Villages from what I see of the real estate ads.

This couple seems to have some significant issues and sure as hell don't need this friendly Villages forum piling on. I for one see no humor in this thread.

It was a slow news day in Florida Friendliest Hometown. He forgot to walk the dog and she couldn't walk far in her condition---thus a huge problem here in Friendly City.

Never a dull moment.....Fore!

I hope the owners of the new house being built next to the Atlas dog park are dog lovers as their barkyard is the dog park.

In Ohio, the man who purchased the closest house to the local airport has complained about activities at and changes to the airport. And, he is a retired pilot. This is the latest ->

More poop to think about!

Good point.
But possibly the price they paid for their home was readily available on Ziillo.
Not so for their former occupations.
